Overview

Tag Rules automatically label end users when they meet conditions you define—for example after certain events or counts over time. Tagged values can appear under External Info on a profile when your brand uses that attribute.

Labels match brand mek (en) in Admin.

Rules list

  1. Go to Singles ManagementTag Rules.
  2. The table shows Name, Key (the storage key for the tag), Description, Lifetime (days until a tag expires, if set), Status, and Created.
  3. Click a row to open the rule.
  4. To add a rule, use Rules actionsRule.

Create or edit a rule

On the rule page, work through the sections in the side menu:

  • Rule Information — display name, description, optional tagged expiration days, an Invert switch, and profile statuses the rule applies to.
  • Tag Conditions — table of conditions: pick an Event, then fill Param 1 and Second parameter when the event needs them (labels on screen explain each event).
  • Matching Profiles — preview of profiles that currently match this rule’s key.

For a new rule, click Save in Tag Rule actions when you are done. After the rule exists, changes may save as you edit—use Save when it is shown.

When a linked attribute does not exist yet, you may see Create Attribute. After creation, View Attribute opens the attribute editor.

Managers with delete permission can remove a rule with Delete TagRule.

Run and review

Apply a saved rule on demand and check who was tagged.

On an existing rule, click Execute to run the rule now. Then open Matching Profiles to see who matches.

Use Rule status to set the rule active or inactive when your role allows.
